HOW I SPEND MY SUMMER VACATION

Ethel M. Ritchie 9

After school is out I help my mother. When it is warm enough I plant my garden.

Mother gave me some ground for a garden of my own. I plant beans, beets, cabbage and onions in my garden. When they are ripe I gather them for winter.

I help my mother with the housework, wash dishes and pick berries. On Sunday I go to church.
