WHAT I SAW ON MY WAY TO SCHOOL

Stanley Davis, 7

One morning I was going to school. On my way I saw some trees that were covered with ice. They glistened like glass.
The ground was very slick, but at last we got to the schoolhouse.

The hill was so steep and slick that I could not get up. The teacher found a better place and got up all right. Then she got me by the hand and pulled me up. The ice was all gone before we came home.
