This Indenture made this 7h day of Feb 7 1842 between Samuel Cootes of the one part and Frederick Dove of the other part Witnesseth that where as the said Frederick Dove on the 27^th day of MY 1839 conveyed to the said Samuel Cootes in trust to secure a debt due from him to Aaron Dove a certain tract of land lying & being in Brocks Gap in Rockingham County all of which will more fully appear by the said trust due of record in the clerks office of said county. And whereas the said Frederick Dove has paid the debt and interest due by the said deed or secured by it which appears by the receipt of the said Aaron Dove & his order hereto annexed directing the said Samuel Cootes to convey and release the said land to the said Frederick Dove now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Samuel Cootes for and in consideration of the premises doth by these presents for himself his heirs executors and administrators convey and release unto the said Frederick Dove & his heirs & assigns all the right and title which he the said Samuel Cootes has or might have in and to the land so conveyed to him in trust as aforesaid. [Not complete] dred and ninety dollars and 25 cents bearing the principle and interest on three hundred and fifty dollars from the 27 day of May 1839 for which said Frederick Dove executed to Samuel Cootes a trust deed to secure said $350.00 and I hereby authorize and request said Samuel Cootes to execute a deed of release to said Frederick Dove as witness my hand and seal this day and date above
