Hardy Co. DB 25:68 1856

This deed made the…….day of ……..in the year 1856 between John Mathias & Robert J. Gilden Sheriff of Hardy County & as such committee administrator of Jacob Coots dcd of the county of Hardy of the first part & Corban W.Miller late of said county of the second part & Samuel Harper of said county & George Harper of Pendleton County of the third part. Whereas the said Corban W. Miller the 2^nd day of August 1843 in order to secure the payment of the sum of two hundred dollars & sixty five dollars to the sd Samuel Harper dec by deed of trust of that date convey to the said John Mathias his heirs executor administrators & assigns the following property to wit a certain tract or parcel of land lying on the waters of Lost river in said county containing about seventy five acres being the share of the land which descended to the said Corban W. Miller from his Father Jacob Miller deceased in trust for the used or purposed in the said deed mentioned & whereas the said Corban W. Miller on the 26^th day of February 1852 in order to secure the payment of the sum of seven hundred & seventy seven dollars & forty one cents to the said George & Samuel Harper dec by deed of trust of that date convey to the said Jacob Coots his heirs by executors administrators & assigns the aforesaid tract or parcel of land in trust for the uses & purposes in said deed mentioned, and whereas since the execution & delivery of these deeds of trust the said Corben W. Miller has fully satisfied & paid to the said Samuel Harper & to the said George & Samuel Harper all the monies by the said deeds secured which the said Samuel Harper & the said George & Samuel Harper do hereby acknowledge and whereas the said Jacob Coots since the execution the the said last deed of trust has departed this life & Robert J. Gilden Sheriff of said County has by the court of said county been regularly appointed his administor for & has qualified as such according to law,…………this indenture witnesseth that for the consideration aforesaid as well as for the further consideration of one dollar in hand paid by the said Corbin W. Miller to the said John Mathias & one dollar in hand paid by the same to the said ? bert G. Gilden Administrators aforesaid at & before the sealing……of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the…….pis & George & Samuel Harper have released & by these presents do….unto the said Corbin W.
